The tragedy of Jerusalem was the tragedy of unbelief. We see in Matthew 21:1-22 the Triumphal Entry of Christ, hailed yet unknown. We see the Temple cleansed and made what it ought to be, to the indignation of the religious leaders. And we see the tragedy of Jerusalem, making a fine show, but without faith.
