The Centrality of the Church (Eph. 2:19-22)

Thus far in Paul's letter to the Ephesians, he has been expounding on the glorious gospel of grace that has been revealed to Christians. Now, he shifts gears to the main thrust of his argument: how grace draws us together as one people, the Church. We see in this passage that the Church wasn't a necessary evil or a byproduct of some other purpose; the Church was God's purpose in salvation!
