The Marks Of True Obedience
Obedience is a common thread in all of the profiles of Hebrews 11. Obedience is when faith becomes visible. It is the tangible manifestation of a person’s trust in God. It is the testimony that a person is in fact righteous like Noah (cf. Ezek. 14.14). On several occasions we are told that Noah was in fact righteousness and therefore serves as an example of righteousness:
