The Unstoppable Gospel

Aim: To boldly live and declare the gospel of Jesus—as His faithful church.

Doctrine: The gospel of Jesus cannot be thwarted. Though fallen men and angels rage against it, Christ's good news and kingdom conquers all.

Doctrine: The ''proper'' realms of the unstoppable gospel: the worlds of theology and worship (v. 8), philosophy and commerce (v. 9), and everything else (v. 10).

Further application: How we in the true church are effective agents of the unstoppable gospel: through our Sabbath worship of the triune God, which prepares us to shine for Jesus the rest of the week.

Key verses: vv. 9-10 ''But when some became stubborn and continued in unbelief, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, [Paul] withdrew from them and took the disciples with him, reasoning daily in the hall of Tyrannus. This continued for two years, so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.''
