Ecclesiastes 4:1-3

In this message, we study Ecclesiastes 4:1-3. In this passage of Scripture, Solomon discusses oppression. Solomon said, because of oppression, the dead are better off. One point of this message concerns the benefits of living, even though we will face oppression. In this message, we also use the comments found on "The Bible Illustrator" to define oppression. We also see how Nehemiah handled oppression in Nehemiah 5. Finally, we look at our response to oppression. Our concluding thought, "Life would not be vain if you look beyond yourself to help others.
