Habakkuk: From Protest to Praise - When God Says, 'Woe'

Habakkuk 2, foretells how God is going to one day cut Babylon down and utterly destroy the once powerful empire. There, we find 5 woes in verses 6, 9, 12, 15, and 19 which serve as a formal indictment against Babylon.

Rebellion against God is not just a matter of ancient history. Hence, these warnings are still in effect to all who are like the Babylonians in their conduct.

Those who line up with the cultural forces of today will find themselves out of step with God tomorrow.
