A Man on the Job

It is noteworthy that 'many listeners' in 'His hometown' (Mark 6:2 & 1) knew Jesus as 'the carpenter' (Mark 6:3). Four observations are made about labor from Jesus' hometown identity. As the heading, 'A Man on the Job,' is developed the imperative of Exodus 20:9, 'Six days you shall labor and do all your work,' is expounded.
