Christian Humility

Main Point
As a child of God your life is to be clothed in humility; humble yourself by casting your cares upon the God who cares for you.

1. God requires that you submit to the leadership of the church (v. 5a)

2. God also requires that your life be distinguished by genuine humility toward others (v. 5b)

3. God's gracious promise is to bless those who are truly humble (v. 5c)

4. True humility requires bowing down before the sovereignty of God (v. 6)

5. Experience the blessings of true humility by casting your cares upon the God who cares for you (v. 7)
