Peter's first sermon – Part 3

With the consciences of his hearers in full-court press, Peter explains that the Old Testament Scriptures predict that the Messiah must be resurrected from death, and that Jesus of Nazareth is the only person who fully satisfies Old Testament Scripture, particularly Psalm 16. We note that the Supreme Court of heaven overturned the councils of men by raising Jesus from the Dead, and we took heart noting that God is able to reverse the most foreboding calamity by actually using the means of disaster to bring about extraordinary good.
