God is the Righteous Judge

God's holy hatred toward sin and wickedness becomes very clear in this passage. God has heard the outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah, two cities that are a byword for extreme sinfulness and depravity. But Abraham struggles with how God's justice can be consistent in bringing judgment upon a city where both the righteous and the wicked live.
