The Swallowing of Death

We must not overlook the awesome demonstration of God's power in the resurrection. Incredible power will be unleashed, beyond what our small minds are able to comprehend, whereby every person that has ever lived and died since the beginning of time until the end of time will be resurrected in a split second. Then those who are still alive when Christ returns will be transformed at almost that exact same time. Scripture shows that soon after this, the final judgment will take place and this also seems to be when the earth will be purified and renewed. It is at the resurrection that we will fully understand Paul's statement that death has lost its sting, where in the midst of the final judgment Christ's victory which is made ours through faith, will be utterly swallowed, or destroyed for God's children.
