# 151 And the veil was rent in two Matt 27 vs 50 to 53
Series John
- The problem that sinners have is how to approach God.
- God has taught and provided the way of approach through the Tabernacle system.
- What did the Tabernacle system teach about salvation and how do we know that the way of approach has been opened?
- The testimony of the curtain/veil that separated the Holy place from the Holy of Holies and its theological significance.
- The renting of that veil in two and what that means for the sinner and their acceptance by God.
- The discontinuity of Moses, the Law, its being set aside for that which is better and superior-the New and Living way of approaching God.
- It is only through the gospel of the rent veil that the sinner can enter into the presence of God with boldness and full assurance of faith.
- Claiming to do the Law is an attempt to build that which Christ has fulfilled and set aside.
- Moses was only a servant in God's house and not the Son like the Lord Jesus.
- The differences between Moses and Christ are too big and significant to be ignored for expediency. That and more!
