The Second Veil

The veil of the temple is a part of the building and yet so much more. It defines the difference between the holy place and the holiest place. If the outer holy place represents life on this rock, then the Holiest represents the very Throne room of Heaven itself for it is the place where God Himself dwells. So the veil becomes more than just a piece of fabric acting as a door, it becomes a symbol of many things great and awesome and worth the time to consider… the veil was given for separation, for holiness, for instruction, for entrance and for transition… the veil was given so that we might know.
