The Soul's Conflict With Itself

The believer's life involves the battle with sin, and often involves falling into the same failures despite a desire to do good. Yet God's grace is boundless, offering forgiveness to those who humbly seek it. Sin, when met with repentance and self-examination, weakens sin's grip, deepens humility, and strengthens resolve to pursue holiness. Believers should be ashamed to sin but not ashamed to glorify God's mercy in begging His pardon. While sin brings misery, grace brings joy, assuring no condemnation for those in Christ.
