Three Angelic Warnings

Angels are messengers. In fact, the word “angel” literally means messenger and in the Bible usually refers to a messenger from God. Revelation 14:6-13 presents three messenger angels and their messages to the inhabitants of the earth during the future Tribulation Period. During that time of trial on earth leading up to the return of Jesus Christ people will be forced to choose between Christ and the Antichrist. There will be plenty of opportunity to choose Christ and plenty of pressure to reject Him. The messages of these three angels will cast that choice in no uncertain terms. To choose Christ is to choose life. To choose the Antichrist will be to embrace eternity without Christ, eternal torment. Although this spiritual decision takes on an intensified importance in those days leading up to Christ’s return, the same decision rests with the hearts of people today. To receive life and avoid eternal death we must surrender to Jesus Christ.
