From Suffering to Glory

Although believers often suffer because of their allegiance to Christ, he suffered for his people in a unique way through the humiliation of his life, culminating at the cross. There he died for his people as the Substitute for their sins, and was then "made alive by the Spirit," thus enabling us to have access to God. It is Christ's death, resurrection, and ascension that enables us to triumph over all the forces against Christianity.
