Wrestling with Romans 13_Part 3

Part 3 of "Wrestling with Romans 13." There are times to resist "government authority," but we must remember:

• Our resistance shouldn't be primarily about our fleshly comfort or our own obstinate personal will, but about the kingdom of God and the Salvation of Lost Souls.
o Both now and in the future.
• Whatever we decide (and whatever we do), we must remember that the Lord does not see as man sees. The Lord looks on the heart.
• We must beware of being defiant just for the sake of being defiant.
• The best way to submit to legitimate government authority is to obey God. If you obey God and live a life of love, you will have fulfilled the highest law.
