God's Plan for His Church Today

The church is God's plan for His work, His ministry, and His people in the world today. He has set forth in His Word how the church is to function and the organization therein. The Word of God is to be the center of the universal and local church as well as the individual lives of each believer who makes up the Church as the Body of Christ. Individual growth of each member strengthens the church together and moves it along in maturity so that God's work in each local area through the local church is done. Any adjustment to the Word being taught, any distractions to the teaching of the Word, any diminishing of the authority of the Word results in a weakened body and most often unbelievers making up a larger proportion of the Church. God has spoken with clarity, sufficiency, instruction and warnings that must be learned and then put into practice.
