The Feast of Booths/Tabernacles (vss. 1-2 ; Lev. 23:42-43)

I. The Mask of a Fleshly Perspective (vss. 3-9)

“… we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.” 2 Cor. 5:16

II. The Mask of Private Speculation (vss. 10-13)

There was much muttering [whispering] about Him
• “He is a good man”
• “He is leading the people astray”

Conclusion—“On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.’” John 7:37
