Christ the Lord and Head of His Church

It is God's Word that is to be preached and not the word of any man or creature. The govenment and offices of His Church have been ordained by Him alone and are not open to the tampering of men. The officers of His church bear the authority and power granted them by the King - no more and no less, and the power they bear is and must be declarative only, never legislative.
