The Authority of the Preacher

The final two verses of Mt. 7 show the connection between the sermon and the person who preached the sermon on the mount. These verses record for us the impact that Christ's sermon had on His hearers. If we understand and appreciate the one who preached the sermon on the mount then our estimation of the sermon's value will be greatly elevated. In this study we consider what this sermon teaches us about Christ - especially Christ's authority.
