David & Mephibosheth: Mercy To The Helpless
Series The Life of David
Rather than destroying Saul's family, King David seeks out someone that he can show the kindness of God to. And in the grace of King David towards Mephibosheth we see a beautiful picture of King Jesus and his grace towards his elect. Sinners are spiritually what Mephibosheth was physically. Helpless though we are, God shows us incredible mercy.
