Christ Our Passover Lamb

What was so special about Jesus' last Passover feast in Jerusalem? Why had He been looking forward to it, if He knew it was to be His last? How do we reconcile God's having ordained Jesus' passion and sufferings of this Passover week with the free acts of wicked men in crucifying Him? These are important questions to ponder, especially when we commune with God at the Lord's Table.
