Remedies the Lord Employs

In this fifth review of Spurgeon's sermon, 'An Earnest Warning Against Lukewarmness,' we come to the first of four remedies our Lord employs to restore the Laodicean church. The first remedy is 'a clear discovery as to the church's true state.' A church needs to know the truth about its real condition. As Spurgeon preached, 'we shall never get right as long as we are confident that we are so already.'
