Clifford Said the Right Things, But.....

Tony was was sitting next to his Prayer Stand, just off the campus of the University of Iowa, when a man named Clifford approached him and said "hello." Clifford professed to be a follower of Jesus Christ. In fact, when Tony asked him to share the gospel with him, Clifford did very well. Yet Clifford, who professed faith in Jesus Christ at the age of nine, described his walk with Christ as "up and down" since that tender age--a walk that includes a lifetime of alcoholism.
