Christ's Gifts to His Church

The explicit and direct command of the Lord Jesus through the beloved Apostle is for us to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. This is accomplished with “lowliness and meekness, longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.” Every division in the body of Christ does not come from God but from somewhere else. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism. There is one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
