The Man of Sin

Before the Lord Jesus returns to earth, the Man of Sin will be revealed. He is not a system but a person, and he will be destroyed by the Lord Jesus himself at his return. This last great tyrant has had many people in history who give us insights into how he will be, from Antiochus Epiphanes, the Greek tyrant whose defeat the Jews still celebrate at Hanukkah, to the Roman Emperor Gaius who ordered his statue be placed in Jerusalem about ten years before the Apostle Paul wrote First and Second Thessalonians.
