Salvation that rests in God's grace alone will always be under assault by those who want to fall back into the bondage of the law. Rules, lists, the do's and don'ts of life will alway steal from the gospel. This constant threat masquerades as genuine religion. But such religion has a dark side which Jesus is quick to expose.
