At the Crossroads

We all reach crossroads in our lives – weddings, graduations, facing the empty nest – after which our lives are changed forever. Some crossroads are unexpected – an accident or a sudden illness. The most important crossroads are spiritual.

In our text today three widows, Naomi, Ruth and Orpah face a physical crossroads – deciding whether to stay in Moab or go to Bethlehem which is also a spiritual crossroads.
