The Selflessness of God's Love - Are You a User?

Love is pure selflessness. It is being that is entirely emptied of self. To what extent is our love (as seen in our various relationships) a using 'love,' looking to see what it can get out of the arrangement? That is mere self-love. It is fleshly and sinful and wicked. It is something we must recognize and reject. We need to learn to love as God loves - selflessly!
