Precious Promises II

The law of God is directed toward the inner man and Christ is fully formed in us accord to the things set before us by Peter as well as the other apostles. “Be not conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your minds.” The inner man is changed by the Gospel, and we are to get on with it. The grammar has a sense of urgency: Give all diligence, for this will keep you from falling, but you will be able to walk the narrow way without stumbling.
