The Tulip of Calvinism Vs. The Southern Baptist Non-Calvinism

The Tulip of Calvinism Vs. The Southern Baptist Non-Calvinism 1 Timothy 2:3–4 KJVToday, we studied one of the greatest debates in church history — how salvation really works.
• Calvinism (TULIP) emphasizes God's sovereignty, teaching that salvation is limited to the elect whom God has chosen.
• Southern Baptist Non-Calvinism emphasizes human responsibility, teaching that salvation is offered freely to whosoever will believe on Christ.
Paul makes it clear in 1 Timothy 2:3–4 that it is God's will that all men be saved. The cross is not for a select few but for the entire world. Jesus shed His blood for every sinner, and the invitation to be saved is open to everyone.
Salvation is not ultimately found in systems of theology but in the Savior, Jesus Christ. We must guard against letting man's doctrines divide us, while holding fast to the truth that:
• Christ died for the world.
• The Spirit convicts the heart.
• The sinner must respond in repentance and faith.
Our confidence is not in Calvin, not in Baptist tradition, but in Christ alone who saves to the uttermost.
• Calvinism says: God chooses who will be saved.
• The Bible says: Whosoever will may come.
• The choice is before every soul today: accept or reject Jesus Christ.
God's love is universal, His call is genuine, His grace is sufficient, and His offer is real to all who believe. The doctrine of "Whosoever Will" is not just a theological stance—it is the heartbeat of the Gospel.Jesus did not say "the elect only" but "whosoever." That word opens the door of hope to every sinner. No one is beyond the reach of Calvary's cross.
