The Door Is Open, But You Must Walk In
Series Whosoever Will
The Door Is Open, But You Must Walk In. John 3:16; Romans 10:13; Revelation 3:20 KJV Salvation is not a locked door, hidden path, or secret code. God has already opened the door through His Son, Jesus Christ. The question is not whether the door is open—the question is whether you will walk in.I. God's Sovereignty Provides the Way (John 3:16) – Before we ever knocked, God loved us. Before we ever searched, He gave His only Son. Salvation is God's sovereign gift, prepared and offered to the whole world.II. Man's Free Will Must Respond (Revelation 3:20) – Christ stands at the door and knocks, but He will not force His way in. He calls, invites, and waits for a response. Salvation is not automatic; it requires a personal choice.III. Salvation Is Offered to "Whosoever Will" (Romans 10:13) – The open door is for anyone. No one is excluded, no sin too deep, no life too broken. The promise is simple: if you call on the Lord, you shall be saved. This sermon reminds us that the cross opened Heaven's door once and for all. God has done His part; now man must do his. Christ knocks at the heart—some hear and open, others hear and refuse. The greatest tragedy is not that the door is closed, but that so many never step through it.The invitation is clear: The door is open—will you walk in?
