Love Others More Than Meat
Series Liberty, Unity, Division
What is more important, being able to enjoy my Christian liberty without any restrictions created by my weaker brother's hang-ups, or love my brother? What is more important, my brother or my freedom to eat meat? What is more important, my brother's welfare or my belly? In the section of Romans 14, wherein Paul deals with Christian unity through liberty, Paul addresses these kinds of questions. We should love our weaker brothers enough not to put stumbling blocks in front of them, by doing things they think are wrong, even though we know they are not wrong. Love does no wrong to a brother.
