Small Minded Elitists

These are individuals who have a supreme confidence in their own logic and their own conclusions. So much so that they never really test them… they just make up riddles to prove their superiority. It is more than this of course but we can hardly miss the attitudes expressed in this question. Here is Arrogance, elitism, snobbery and untested self-confidence, conservatism and stuffiness all rolled together. The arrogance of the one dismissing the supernatural and the divine is that of the individual who contracts the cosmos down to little riddles they smuggly repeat over and over again... hypnotizing their own selves. It is the mental sickness of men trapped as giants in a small world. Christ has come to release us into the infinite where we are set free in a large world where we become happily small.
