The Son of Man Goes Forth to War

Brief Overview: There are many different types of battles being waged in the world today, but ultimately only one war. It was started by God in the garden of Eden (Gen 3:15) and will continue until the coming of Jesus Christ from heaven, when He will cast all his defeated enemies into the Lake of fire that burns forever and ever (Rev. 19-20). There are only two armies in this war. In which one are you a enlisted? What does your commander and chief require of you? The sermon outline is as follows:

I. The nature of the war and the warfare.

II. The nature of a soldier (disciple) of Christ.

III. The preparation of the army by Christ.
