Man-Made Religion

Jeroboam went outside of God's boundaries and started giving himself counsel. In the process, he conjured up his own religion, changing the object of worship, the place of worship, the priests, and the calendar of worship. He made his own religion that appeased the flesh, a move that affected many for generations to come.
