Grieving God

In the time before the flood, sinful man's wickedness grows progressively worse and it grieves God deeply in His holy heart. Every intention of the thoughts of sinful man's heart was only evil continually, and God regretted having even created man. But God created man to walk with him and to please him, and this is possible by God's sovereign grace as we respond to his Spirit and seek to commune with God by faith just as we see in Enoch and Noah.
