The Sovereign Lord Knows

The Lord knows how to deliver the Godly. The same Lord who delivered Noat and Lot knows how to deliver you. Paul begins this section with a word of comfort. We must beware of following false teachers in our despair. We may be a remnant and be aware of that fact but Noah and Lot were also a remnant and the Lord delivered them.

Remember, our Lord is absolutely able. His righteousness and justice are absolute and despite our sin, He deals with us in love.

He says we are His friends if we do what he commands. Can I be counted as His friend?
