Antichrist & The 70th Week Daniel 9

From Daniel 9.24 the Angel Gabriel unveils to Daniel 490 years of the future for Israel.

One day in the future there will be a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and that Temple will be consecrated to the Lord. Read Ezekiel 40-43.

Gabriel in his prophecy of the future of Israel divides the 490 years into three stages.

(49 years, 434 years and a final period of 7 years)

Period 1: Is the first period of time of 49 years from the decree and including the rebuilding of Jerusalem in troublesome times. Nehemiah was troubled by enemies as he built the walls of Jerusalem.

Period 2: Is the second period of time in the prophecy. The Messiah would arrive 49 years + 434 years after the decree was made. 49+ 434 years = 483 years.

So some 500 years before Christ came into the City of Jerusalem as their Messiah, Daniel in his book indicated the exact day of Christ’s arrival in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

The Messiah would arrive 49 years + 434 years after the decree was made = 483 years.

After the 434th year was completed then the Messiah would be cut off.

The Third Period or the final week of Daniel’s prophecy 70 week (490 years prophecy) concerns the end times.

There is a gap between the 69th week in the prophecy and the 70th week of the prophecy.

The last week of Daniel’s prophecy which begins the Tribulation Period could really happen anytime now.

At the beginning of the last week (the 70th Week) of the prophecy in Dan 9 there will be the appearance of the Anti-Christ and he will make a Peace Covenant for seven years with Israel.
