Privileges No Guarantee of Pleasing God

Just as the remarkable privileges God granted to the Israelite church did not guarantee the salvation of all who were visible members of that church, neither do the greater privileges God grants to the Christian church guarantee the salvation of all of its visible members. Privileges are no profit to those without Christ, those with whom God is not pleased.
