But if I asked you if your pastor taught you the doctrines of justification by faith alone, the sovereignty of God, limited atonement, saved by grace alone through faith alone, predestination, you will all answer yes. Well listen to this last of three podcasts to hear the rest of John Calvin as those very doctrines he expounded from scripture enflamed his heart and the heart of his congregants to put their lives in jeopardy for the sake of the gospel. This happens when doctrine enters the heart by the Holy Spirit and produces affection toward God and man.
