SUMMARY: Because there is forgiveness with God, God established it with a covenant, announced it to the world, and sought out those who should receive it.

I. GOD ESTABLISHED FORGIVENESS WITH A COVENANT.
A. He Devised the Covenant.
B. He Verified it with an Oath.
C. He Honored it with His Name.

II. GOD PUBLISHED THE MESSAGE OF FORGIVENESS TO THE WORLD.
A. Through the Ordinances of Worship.
B. Through the Documentation of His Written Word.

III. GOD SOUGHT OUT A PEOPLE TO RECEIVE HIS FORGIVENESS.
A. In the Old Testament.
B. In the New Testament.
