1 Peter Study - part 78

Here we are taught to submit ourselves to the various areas of authority that He has established on earth. We are to live out His sovereignty as those who obey and glorify Him even when the authority we are under is unfair and perverse. Our Lord is our perfect example of how we are to follow in His footsteps when we find ourselves living under unjust and unfair authority. Peter next shows us just how Christ suffered unjustly and what He did not do and what He did do to perfectly fulfil the will of the Father and win our salvation.
