Praying for Presidents

Paul exhorts us to pray for all men and for those in authority. What kind of America do you want to live in? What kind of rulers do you want to have? In one sense, it could be said, "You get what you pray for." If we want to live tranquil and quiet lives, in all godliness and dignity, as the verse indicates, then we must pray for those in authority. The former is conditional on the latter.
