Fatherly Advice

This eighth message on the Biblical family carefully focuses on the responsibilities of two members: first, children are commanded to obey and to honor their parents - this requires submitting to the leadership of their parents while generously supporting their needs; second, fathers are commanded to not provoke their children to anger, but to bring them up - this requires restraining their personal demands while nurturing their precious disciples. God is the head of each family, so members are accountable to Him. His commands must be obeyed and honored...His designated leader must not exasperate their children...His requirements include both educating and admonishing with His Word.
