4. Gospel Identity

As the people of God, the Scriptures teach us that we are both forgiven, and in need of

forgiveness. We can know complete and unchangeable forgiveness through the Son, according to

God's unfailing love and his covenant faithfulness and grace. He has done it! And he 'speaks'

peace to us. God remains with us through life and blesses us, that we may be strong and

courageous and not be afraid.
