The Gospel of Resurrection

Paul began his consideration of resurrection by drawing the Corinthians' attention back to the gospel he'd preached to them and they had embraced in faith. This approach highlights Paul's conviction that the truth of resurrection is the very marrow of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, to deny, misjudge or minimize resurrection is to deny or jeopardize the gospel itself. And coming against the gospel this way is to call into question one's own faith - at least the basis and hope upon which one holds his faith.
