[07/27/2025 PM] - “Confession in the Daytime” - Psalm 32

In Psalm 32 we find the next of our "sanctification according to the clock" special summer series. You might remember we had a primer on morning prayer from Psalm 5; then a primer on morning Bible reading from Psalm 143; a our third sermon in this special series - sanctification according to the clock - was the reminder from Lamentations 3 that "His compassions never fail". Now we come to midday on the clock and see the need for "Confession in the Daytime" from Psalm 32.

Theme: The Lord directs our daytime confession, and we are glad

1. We wake aware that in Christ, we are blessed

2. But when sin creeps in, we sometimes resist confession

3. God by His Spirit brings anguish so that we relent

4. Our confession brings restoration of the joy of our God
