Turning someone around

Rather than closing this epistle with words of benediction, rather James is inspired to leave us with one last command of how true faith conducts itself…True Faith is in the business of turning people around.
We can rightly surmise that apostasy was possible even from the earliest days of the church. James who writes this letter only some 15 or so years after the death of Christ, must already address the possibility of believers who err from the truth. In some cases, they may not be believers, they may be make-believers, but this does not relinquish our duty.
